Number of Rooms – 70 Sandors on The Park is located among historic homes, opposite the beautiful City Park and a few minutes to the Tamar River, new Inveresk development and the city business and shopping centre. This central location provides an ideal base from which to explore Launceston and the Tamar Valley wineries and numerous visitor attractions. Accommodation provided includes 70 twin, double and family sized air conditioned rooms. Modern facilities and quality furnishings combine to present a high standard of accommodation, with free Austar TV. Delicious meals and snacks are available from the fully licensed restaurant and a refreshing "Tassie" ale or cool climate wine may be enjoyed in the lounge bar after a day's sightseeing. TripAdvisor traveler rating: 2 of 5 stars The corridor smelt of mould, and was also dimly lit. No sound insulation between any of the rooms. Bathroom old and rundown, no extraction fan.
