Franklin Manor is a boutique hotel originally built for the Harbour Master in 1896. sympathetic renovations in recent years have breathed new life into the Manor further enhancing the elegance of the house. Today it provides an indulgent wilderness retreat for discerning travellers. Franklin Manor has an enviable reputation for quality food and wine - select your preferred wine from the extensive underground cellar. The "Tasmanian Wine Room" is a new concept which provides a relaxed and intimate area for guests to enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Wines are sourced from boutique vineyards and showcase our finest local vintages. Franklin Manor has 14 guest rooms located within the main building, all of which have had recent soft refurbishment to ensure guests enjoy maximum comfort. Ten standard queen rooms are cosy and well appointed with ensuite bathrooms. Four Manor Suites king sized beds, two of which also feature spa bath ensuite. Franklin Manor offers limited off street parking, reception and tour desk, large sitting rooms with open fires and an enveloping verandah which is a favourite spot to sit and read, and perhaps enjoy afternoon tea. Franklin Manor is set in beautiful gardens and is a smoke free property. |
