Hollybank Treetops Adventure is an exciting, forest based tourism attraction located 15 minutes northeast of Launceston. Hollybank Treetops Adventures now boast a number of exciting tour options! Night tours gliding through the canopy of the forest and launched in November 2011 the NEW SEGWAY TOURS! With a guide to show you the basics of riding your SEGWAY PT (personal transporter) you'll effortlessly glide deep into the Eucalypt forest. The tour combines the adrenaline rush of a SEGWAY PT ride with an informative and entertaining outlook of the forest. Visitors glide across the treetops in this unique forest canopy tour, gaining a bird's-eye view of Tasmania's beautiful forests. Gliding along wires, attached by harnesses, thrill seekers are led by knowledgeable and highly trained guides through the treetops and above the Pipers River. The journey includes cable spans of between 45 metres and 370 metres, connected by tree platforms called 'cloud stations'. This attraction is unlike any other Australian nature experience and visitors have the opportunity to see the trees and forest ecology in a new light and learn about vibrant Tasmanian forests. Following the adventure, visitors can enjoy a drink or meal in the visitor centre or make use of the BBQ and picnic facilities in the grounds.
