Surely one of the best ways to acquaint yourself with a new city is walking the streets, preferably with local guide, who can also introduce you to the best places to eat, drink and be merry!
The brainchild of Launceston couple, Brock and Fi Kerslake, taste.walk.talk was established late 2016 to help connect visitors to Launceston with the fantastic gourmet delights that they and their family enjoy on a daily basis.
The Tamar Valley region is home to fabulous cool climate wines, craft brewers, gin making, game meats and fresh produce including berries and honey. Bridestowe Lavender Farm is only a short drive from Launceston.
Northern Tasmania is a gourmet haven, with a very close connection to its producers. Many delicious products are hand made within the city limits, or only a short drive way and Brock and Fi have worked with these artisans to package up all the tasty offerings into a walking tour.
There are options of a day, afternoon or pre-dinner tour 7 days a week, or a Sunday brunch tour. Brock is the primary tour guide and enjoys the opportunity to also indulge his passion for the history of Launceston and its incredible architecture. Bespoke tour are also available and have been very popular for those wishes to tailor the tour to their own indulgences.
