Be a Spirited Traveller.
One of the joys of travelling to Tasmania by ship is that your holiday starts the moment you board.
The best way to discover Tasmania is in your own car, so drive on board set sail for a stress-free holiday. With the only luggage restriction being your car’s capacity, you can pack the golf clubs, hiking boots, mount your bikes on a rack and even bring the fishing rod.
Once on board take some time to explore all that Spirit of Tasmania has to offer. Relax at one of the three onboard bars: Top Deck Lounge, Bar 7 and The Terrace Lounge Bar. Here you can sample a world-renowned Tasmanian Pinot Noir, a boutique cider or a craft beer sourced from the many local breweries and cider houses.
Kids will love the Game Zone and on day sailings, during school holidays, there are special activities and performances for the whole family to enjoy.
The onboard restaurant, Tasmanian Market Kitchen (TMK), serves a delicious range of Tasmanian-inspired marketplace favourites. After dinner, enjoy a latest release movie at one of two cinemas, try your luck in the gaming lounge or head to Deck 9 where there is a live acoustic singer on every sailing.
When it’s time to turn in, there are accommodation options to suit all budgets. Relax in secluded comfort in a Deluxe Cabin or a Twin or Four Bed Cabin. All cabins come fully equipped with their own private ensuite, air conditioning/heating and bedding. Recliners are also available and are a great, low-cost alternative.
After a good night’s rest, you’ll wake up refreshed and ready to drive straight into the touring paradise that is Tasmania!
Spirit of Tasmania usually sails overnight and on peak dates also includes day sailings – as a result departure and arrival times are adjusted to suit. Click here to download 2018-2019 sailing-schedule-2018-19
